Students and families gathered at Elm Creek Elementary School on April 3 for a family reading night, participating in a number of activities to help encourage reading growth. 

Youth Voice is a pillar of Community Education’s Kidstop programming. During the winter/spring months, students have a chance to engage in creating and joining a variety of clubs before or after school. A Kidstop club is an informal, introductory space for students to explore and build a specific hobby or interest with a group of peers while assisting and leading with curriculum.

The Minnesota Association of School Administrators (MASA) recently announced their 2025 Regional Administrators of Excellence, and Osseo Area Schools’ Superintendent, Dr. Kim Hiel, has been recognized as the organization’s award winner for region nine. 

School and district programming is canceled for Tuesday, Feb. 18, because of the extreme cold expected that the National Weather Service strongly suggests our community avoid for safety reasons.

As Osseo Area Schools celebrates National School Counseling Week Feb. 3-7, there is even more reason to celebrate district school counselors’ admirable work this year.
