Incoming Elm Creek kindergarten families,
We can't wait to welcome you to the Class of 2034! Our Kindergarten Orientation will be held from 5 - 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2021. During this time you and your child will visit the kindergarten classrooms for a 15-minute session with one of our kindergarten teachers.
We ask that only one parent/guardian attend with the incoming kindergartener to allow for social distancing; please do not bring siblings. Masks will be required for all who attend and hand sanitizer will be available. If you do not feel safe visiting the school, Kindergarten Orientation materials will also be available on our website.
In August, you will be invited to schedule a time for your child to meet with our teachers for an assessment. This gives the teachers to observe and perform a mini assessment of your child to assist with classroom placement.
Please remember that state law requires an Early Childhood Screening prior to enrollment in kindergarten. Learn more and schedule a screening for your child here. If you still need to complete the enrollment process, please contact our Enrollment Center with questions.
