Why Choose Elm Creek Elementary
Elm Creek Elementary is located in Maple Grove and serves nearly 500 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. Our staff helps children develop strong skills in core subjects and provides opportunities for scholars to explore music and physical education. We are proud to be recognized as a Minnesota School of Excellence (2017) as well as for our efforts to implement a positive behavior framework for students.
Elm Creek is a community-based school with a supportive Parent-Teacher Organization. This gives our scholars more opportunities to achieve their dreams, participate in enriching activities, grow as young leaders, and prepare for success in middle school.
Personalized support for scholars
At Elm Creek Elementary, we work with all scholars to provide appropriate academic support and rigor. From gifted education opportunities to services that support learners with special needs, our mission-driven staff helps each student succeed and lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
We use the Responsive Classroom approach to support students, enrich the learning climate, and build the skills of respect, responsibility and resiliency.
